Slight Rotation Error - Coin Community Forum

Nevol Formerly nancyc Australia 5385 Posts	Posted 11/07/2013 6:29 pm I think the coin is a little off being upright in the 2x2. Try placing it making the reverse upright, and it should then look right. Generally, it's the obv that might rotate, as the reverse is the anvil die and the obverse is the hammer die. 1966 10c are known for rotations. I believe I found the first 2 in late 2006 - early 2007, and I can't remember when I found the 3rd one. I was sorting through some coins a few months ago and came across it in a tiny ziplock bag that I pop 'coin finds' in whilst noodling, and have absolutely no recollection of finding it.
