The 7 on this coin looks different to me. I was wondering if you guys could help out with an explanation. The 7 on the right side looks thinner than normal and there is something extra on the right side. It runs all the way down to the bottom of the 7 but is hard to see. I'm sorry the pictures aren't any better. It's the best I can do for right now.

The 7 has been distorted by a contact mark, just damage.

I also say 1937. PMD can sometimes distort the metal around it, giving it the illusion of an error. Better safe than sorry by checking with us first!

Thank you very much for the information. Kinda new to this stuff. Been trying to study a lot of the pics the others have posted along with reading the feedback. Rather informative and sometimes entertaining.
