I know very little about the following other than 1) it came out of Kentucky, most likely near the Battle of Perryville region; 2) it is older, as in, it was given to my grandmother when she was a girl (which would have been in the 30's). It appears to have 18 crudely placed stars, which makes me think it had something to do with the number of states in the Union at that time. That is the extent of my knowledge. Any clue what this was, or where would be the place to start looking?
