Hello,

I have this coin that my aunt gave to me a long time ago. From the story I'm told, she worked for the Canadian government as a translator. They sent her to China where she met the Emperor and he gave her some items from the palace to take home with her along with his seal of approval for them to leave the country. I can't find any images of this coin on the internet and if she needed his seal to get it out of the country I imagine it would be pretty rare. Anyone have any idea on what this coin is an it's approx value? Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately the deal with Chinese stuff is, anyone can make up with stories to make it sound "rare". This particular token is not a coin or a known medal.

Yes... the quality and design certainly do not match anything from Imperial China, nearly 100 years ago.
