Have a question on the GSA Morgan Certificate question.
For the numbered certificate, was the number embossed (could feel it with your finger) or printed directly on the certificate (can't feel the number).

My understanding was the number was embossed. I just got GSA CC Morgan that had certificate that doesn't see right to me...

Thanks.

Peacesilver, no the number is not embossed. The number on a GSA COA is in light blue ink with the first (2) numbers representating the year of the coin, and the next (6) should be slightly offset. See the attached example of a 1878CC GSA COA.

This thread should help. It contains information on how to spot fake GSA holders.

Oops, you meant certificates, not holders.
Ham1947 is right, the number is not embossed.
