1945 Penny With Doubling On The Five?

Snooderpuff Valued Member United States 126 Posts	Posted 11/15/2013 2:35 pm I found this penny today, and from what I have read on other sites, it looks to be doubling on the five. I tried looking it up on copper coins but couldn't find one to match. Would like to know your thoughts. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/16/2013 11:53 pm I agree just damaged. Not the overall size of the 5 device is the same width as the rest of the date. Just the area in question is different as it took a hit in that area. here is a BU coin.
