Got this in a lot of various coins. Grade? Worth more than a dollar?

All Eisenhower dollars are worth more than a dollar, in my opinion.

Regardless of my bias, this one is definitely.

Is MS64 something worth having graded?

I would not have it TPG'ed, it's nice, but...

Ya....is a pretty big "but" lol. Is that fine line between ultimate value and the TPG fees....if the TPGs charged like half the price, I would think a lot more people would send stuff in.

I'd keep it to judge future 1971-D's by. I have a MS-66+ in my set. It was made from a bag of really nice 1971-Ds that turned up in Oklahoma earlier this year. The bag yielded maybe 50 or 60 MS-66s- several were peg legs with hairlip and talon head die clashes! So nice coins are out there, all you have to do is keep searching. Ikes are the kind of series that you can constantly look to upgrade if you are patient and get a handle on how to grade the things.
