Hello

I would much appreciate some help identifiying this coin - it appears from the symbol to be Bolivian but can't find much information regarding this. Was given to my family 60 years agoand would be interested to know its value. Many thanks in advance

Krause : Therefore, by royal decree of February 17, 1651, the design was changed to the quartered caslles and lions for the obverse and two crowned pillars of Hercules floating above the waves of the sea for the reverse. A new transitional series was introduced. In 1651·1652 followed by a new standard design in 1652 and as the last cob type continued on for several years along wlth the milled pillars and bust pieces from 1767 through 1773. In the final years under Charles III the planchet is compact and dumpy, very irregular and of poor style, contrasling sharply with their coun·
terpart denominations of the pillar and bust types.
