Called a good for, or In trade token since it is from a dinner cafe it probably was a deposit token for the old time coffee bottles that were used. Just like the school milk bottles but for take out coffee.
The local truck stop hamburger joint near the house use to pay a nickle for any milk bottles the kids brought from school!
