1846 Seated Dollar - Counterfait Or Good Grading Coin?

Nothing stands out as odd and as Dave the die crack leads me to further think it's legit. Most definitely cleaned at somepoint.. But most coins from this era have been so that really wouldn't bother me. I'd say its right around AU-50 +/- Beautiful coin! Report this Post to the Staff

Makes me think it's authentic; a die crack of this magnitude is not easy to counterfeit. Quite the nice little coin you've got there. Call it AU Details due to the cleaning, prices for these are all over the place but certainly a US$500+ coin. It would be a tough sell, though, as original-surfaces examples are not uncommon.
