Hi. Any ideas where this might be from? It is about the size of a United States quarter.
Thanks

Hello and welcome.

Your coin is from Tibet. It is a copper sho, dated to the First year of the Sixteenth Cycle, which translates to AD 1927. You'll find it listed in the Krause world coin catalogues as number KM/Y 21a. NGC database page.

Thanks! While I was guessing I had looked online at some coins from Nepal and Tibet, but those sites didn't have an image of this coin.
This is my first Tibet coin!
