Hard to tell from a static photo and only turning the coin in good lighting would confirm that. Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 11/18/2013 8:54 pm I'm torn on this one, and can't help but think maybe it circulated. There's too many "things" on the surfaces (to me) to have only happened inside a Mint bag. The color is a tad bothersome, as well - generally speaking, they tone from the outside in and varying areas of differing color scattered over the coin tends to be an indication of toning following a cleaning or a dip. And with the striations having scraped off some of that toning - as noted by FTB to the left of the neck - we know it's been handled since it toned. Don't take my word as gospel, though.
