Can anyone advise why 2012 sovereigns are priced quite a bit higher than others?

I note on the bullion by post website that current starting prices are :-

2011 £210
2012 £239
2013 £197
2014 £194

Has The Royal Mint released the mintage figures for all of those recent dates?

2011 and 2012 bullion types were both 250,000. Not sure on the newer versions, but I'll take a look.

The price of gold was higher in 2011 and 2012 than it is now. So sovereigns from those years would have been more expensive to produce, hence the higher end cost to the consumer.

I see. But would a falling spot price not affect their value?
