The commemorative coins for next year have been revealed and they look amazing !

For me the Trinity House commemorative 2 pound coin is the most appealing !

WOW..I must say my favourite one has to be Lord Kitchener in his ‘Your country needs you!' pose.

I collect pre-decimal coins so I love to see old designs on modern coins. The bust of Queen Anne on reverse of that £5 coin makes it very appealing. I wonder when was the last time she appeared on a UK coin. Maybe not since she reigned in 1714.

Honestly, I do not like that coin commemorating the outbreak of the First World War. It's bad taste. Coins should only be minted to celebrate people or events, in my view.

I don't think coins should always be about celebration. 1914 is one of the most important years of change in the 20th century for the UK. I think it's worthy of a coin, I think they have tried to go with something positive as well, however the design looks a but weird to me.

Just looks a bit comical, rather than what the poster looks like. Maybe coin in hand it will look different.
