Has anyone else noticed the availability of the 1 oz Colored Caribou in the last few days? It has been going from awaiting stock to Buy it Now at least twice in the last 2 days on RMC website. My Girlfriend was able to snap one up yesterday! Have yet to see the Polar Bear go from awaiting stock to buy it now.

Noticed this as well and snagged one...thinking I may cancel the order though...something seems wrong when it has disappeared and reappeared 2-3 times. I am starting to think it isn't as hot as it seems...I think it is becoming a chain reaction, people are buying not because they like and want it, but rather hoping for a quick turn around for profit and then watch it go down in price.

@ CJ33 and Josh1459

As I recently posted on the November release thread, I decided to buy the Caribou yesterday when it became available again on the mint's site because I think it's going to be a very attractive coin.

I really do not care if it ever becomes a so-called "hot" coin as I don't plan to sell it.

Do not buy this (or any) coins just because it behavior like "hot" or "desired" or something.
Just if you find it attractive and necessary for your collection.

I do not buy coins because I think they may become "hot".I buy them because I like them.I do not have one superman coin as I was not interested in them.I have a Prickly Pear because I liked the way it looked. It will probably never go up in price but I do not give a rats behind if it does or does not.My coins are for my pleasure to look at and display. If other people do not like them so be it.

I just received the Caribou..... still waiting for the Polar Bear.
I am questioning whether I should keep them or just return them?

Why did you buy them and what for?
Understanding the answers for above will help you to decide.

If it was impulsive purchase, following after other people preferences - return them.

Only you know the answer. If you like the coin, keep it. If you are reselling for a profit or hoping for appreciation in value, then send it back. The after market for NCLT is very soft this year. You may only make a small profit or break even. Or even sell at a loss.

I bought them because I like the theme and design (wild life) but I guess with this market condition, I would be able to get them for cheaper in the spring......
