Have hundreds of 5 and 1 cent pieces to go through. Is there an easier faster or best way to look for the varieties when you have a lot?

The years range from about the 1920s to the early 2000s.

I'd separate years and mint marks if possible. Do one year at a time, or per pile. You can then buy plastic coin tubes (with screw lids) and store them. Should you need to revisit any later, they will be an easier find.

Separate them for sure dont forget 1996 and older are your coppers.

I guess we should make sure what country's currency you are looking for advice on. You are from the USA but posted in the CDN forum. And have received answers for both countries
