Alright, as long as you leave one in the stores for me, I will let everyone in on a deal I found while searching through the up coming black Friday ads. Radio Shack is advertising the Brothers P-touch Label Maker for 75% off at $9.99. Here is the link if you would like to check it out. Hope the link works, if not I found it by googling black Friday ads 2013 and used the site blackfriday.com http://blackfriday.com/stores/radio...riday/page-6Just thought that I would share.

Link works fine, thanks for the info. Would the 6, 9 or 12mm Black on Clear tape be about the right size for variety labeling on slabs?

Quote: Would the 6, 9 or 12mm Black on Clear tape be about the right size for variety labeling on slabs? Honestly, I own a P-Touch label maker and have found them, in terms of using for slabs, nearly impossible to work with successfully. There isn't a size tape that works 'exactly' for the slab insert. Now I'm using the World Premier Slabs to be clear. Also, there is so much waste of tape and it's costly. What I found that works better are avery labels and my laser printer. Off the top of my head I cannot remember the label size but can get it if anyone wants it and this my result. Now as far as price is concerned, this is a steal! I love the P-Touch for all my other needs, not just for slabs, that's all.

The P-Touch system is awesome and for that price you CANNOT go wrong if you have a need for one. Thanks for sharing the link!

I did not mean for labeling "self-slabbed" holders, I meant for adding an additional line for "self variety identification" labeling, like my 1881 3CN that has the additional label "RPD" below the PCGS MS63 line;

How would this work for labeling 2x2?

Quote: How would this work for labeling 2x2? If you string together a bunch at a time you will save on tape. They should work great for 2x2s. As far as adding an additional label on an existing slab, it should work great for that as well providing you are again, string a bunch together at a time to save tape. If that's an issue for you. The P-Touch labeling system is great for these and thousands of other applications and 9.99 for that unit is phenomenal. You'll pay more for a single roll of labels!
