I bought a Warman's album some weeks ago and as I'm filling it in, I have noticed that some of the slots are loose and the coins fall of . Is there some way to fix this?

Someone brought this up for another album. I believe that small strips of paper or mylar were used to "take up the slack" around the radius of the coin(s).

This happens to all of the Whitman albums. Never seen it happen to a Dansco or Littleton. The only thing I like about Whitman albums is the smell. Call me crazy, but it just smells like something valuable. I only have one Whitman album left and that's my Lincoln 09 - date. It was given to me as a Christmas present when I was 8 years old and it was the first album I ever had. I have the whole run in there and I treasure it, but other than that, I think Dansco specifically is superior.

I've noticed this happening in two different Dansco albums.

I've got a completed Peace dollar set and it's impossible to keep the dollars from falling down and only being half visible. This one makes me angry.

I've also got a completed AG-G Barber dime set that's horrible about having the dimes slide around in. I chalk that one up to the dimes being so worn that they aren't dime size any more and not the albums fault.

I have the same problem with my Mercury dime and my Kennedy half dollars album. I thin Dansco should replace these...
