I was going to give this junk Vespasian to Pish's school project (in return for that mashed up Trajan - ill probably try and throw in a nicer coin as well) so I took a brush to it to remove the thick sandy encrustation expecting it to buff up golden for the kids.

Well, the brush did wonders. Took about 20 minutes to get it to the stage its staying. I've been after one of these, so I'm pretty happy - I've got a couple of other Vespasians, so ill be giving one of them instead.

The 2 'good' coins from the lot are still in cleaning - the MEMORIAE FELIX is looking nice. Theres a couple of other coins to post (got a nice counterstamp).

Good job Ben... I wouldn't have expected the face to show that kind of detail.
