Here is my first of these,
the seller claimed EF, I think it's an easy Fine. Anyone want to give their opinions?

I think you've got it just right - an easy F, knocking on the VF door but can't quite go in.

Although the ebay pics make the coin look closer to VF, I think you have it right at F.

A solid Fine. Very nice coin. Compare this half dollar to the other two recently posted and you can get a good handle on the differenced between Fine-Extremely Fine-Almost Uncirculated.

Your's is a very nice coin, but note the flat spots in the hair and the flattening of the stars of the obverse. Some strands of hair are no longer visible. Cheeks look "powdered" (common in photo's of these coins in VG-F condition, in my experience. On the reverse, the leading edges of the wings are flattened and some feathers have been lost to wear. This is obvious on the ends of the primaries, as well. (The primaries are the big feathers on the outermost segment of the wing. In an AU coin, there will still be plenty of visible detail in this location, unless it was a weak strike.)
