Most likely it's the lighting giving it that weird look in the picture. You can make them look like entirely different coins just changing that.
Having tried to photo some I have noticed with a light background like that when they're directly reflecting the light cameras tend to give them that liquid metal look.
Definitely looks shinier than your typical SML. That's a positive, IMO. Not something that screams fake in any way. But we've all heard about unscrupulous Chinese forgers. So you never know.
