I was at the LCS picking up the last of the National Parks quarters and on a whim took this one home with me for $30. The diameter is about 41 mm (slightly oblong 41.3 mm at the widest, 40.6 mm at the narrowest), weighs in at 26.5 g and using pi x r^2 x h come up with a specific density of ~9.9. Due to the edge wear, I can't seem to find any overlapping so am hoping you folks can let me know if this is a genuine piece of 8 or not. The edge shots start at 12 and go to 1:30, 3, 4:30...and so on FWIW I'm guessing it is a fake counterfeit based on what I'm reading here and being only $30.
