Here are some of my Canadian finds this year from metal detecting so the coins are a bit dirty. The 1891 one cent has a nice crack through the "R" and some kind of doubling on the C,T,D, and E. and the coin is bent. I think there's a dot under the dates on each of the 1921 and 22 one cent pieces. but I'm real afraid to scrape the crud off it, what should I do? The 5 cent piece has a piece missing out of the leaf and I think its a near 6. If you's see anything else in any of these pics please let me know. I know the odds of all this especially the 1920 and 21 cents are really rare but I can only wish...(tomorrow I will take pics more focused in the area underneath the dates 1920/1921 so we can see it better and then I will re-post the new pics tomorrow night.

I don't know about a dot on the pennies - is there such a variety? Looks like these might be difficult to clean.

I haven't been able to find any varieties on line and I'm not sure how I'm going to clean yet either?

Many varieties for the 1891 possible. There are large and small leaves, large and small dates, and OBV2 or 3.We need full pics to help you determine.
There are no '20 or '21 dots, you have damage.
1926 near.
All US cents have that orientation, opposite to Canadian cents.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Can you tell I'm new every coin I see IS THE ONE. The bug hit me real hard, I think this site is a great place to start learning. The 1891 coin is a Large Leaf, Large Date, Obverse 3 as per "papeldog", you have all been real helpful. Thank you.
