I sent this seller a nessage asking if this is the coin that the winner would receive at least 12 hours before the auction ended. I never heard back so I took a chance and bid with my smaller ebay account in case there was trouble later. I asked again after the auction and still no answer.

I just had a woman bait and switch me on 3 roosies but they were only 99 cents each so I am not too angry, but this is about $40. Should I send payment or wait until I have heard from them.

Obviously the grade listed is much lower than this coin, although I think this coin might have been cleaned. My eyes are getting a little too old to tell from pics that small.

What say ye?

That is the coin you bid on and
That is the coin you should receive.

There is no rush for an answer, sometimes people take a day or two to answer an email. And likewise you can wait a day or two before payment. I'm sure they will contact you to confirm that this is the coin you will receive, any honest seller would do that for his customer, just give them a bit of time.

The seller does not indicate otherwise. It should be the coin you receive.

Whoops! Had a problem there.

I was also going to add that the seller has a 100% positive feedback rating with 1,600 transactions. I don't think you can ask for much better than that.

Just my opinion!!

I would go ahead and pay. I hope you are planning on paying with Payapl. That way, you have some recourse if it isn't the same coin. I think it probably will be, though. I'm more concerned with the fact that the seller didn't provide pictures of the reverse which contains the grading points and the mint mark. Judging by the obverse, the grade is probably pretty accurate, but we all know that the reverses of these coins can wear much more heavily.

Good luck!
