This coin has real nice toning and is in an ICG slab. I was attracted to the toning mostly, it is very pastel like on both obverse and reverse. This is my first attempt at taking pictures with a slabbed coin with my minimal setup, what do you think it is graded my CCF friends?

I see nothing that really detracts from it so I'll say MS65. I'll bet it's a real looker in hand.

I'm thinking MS62 on this one. Nice toning. PG

I think the weak strike will hold this one down to MS64.

I think I will give this a little more time before I post the slab pic... Dave and PG, this is a really nice coin in hand. I saw it in a case that was a stand up rotating type case. The case was behind the big glass coin counter, and the three bottom rows were obscured by the glass counter. You had to reach over the counter to manually turn it and could only see one of the four sides of the case at a time. When I asked about it, the local dealer looked puzzled that I had even seen it! I think he forgot it was in there to be honest, because it wasn't where he had his other Morgans on display in the case. Oh well, it is mine now and I think it was a cool find. Thanks to everyone who is throwing out a grade!

The toning is far too thick for comfortable grading from images. You have to light the dickens out of it from multiple angles and iterations to make sure dings get captured; toning camouflages them easily. You've done quite well with the imaging.
With that said, it's not in doubt that this one's right up there. A typically-indifferent New Orleans strike doesn't inhibit me for grading - with New Orleans issues I'm not dinging a grade for strike until 66-67 territory and even then generosity is called for.
Based on incomplete evidence, I'm at 64 for it.

Ok, looks like this has played out so I'll post the slab pic. supgog, Fade and SsuperDdave nailed it. ICG gave it a 64. Everyone else did pretty darn well, as SsuperDdave noted, it is hard to grade these types of toned Morgans from images as I am finding with others similar. It doesn't hurt to practice though! It is also interesting to hear from you SD about the New Orleans mint's weaker strikes. I read that bit from you, and now have been noticing it come up more and more. I wonder if that relates to equipment or quality of materials or the process of the workers... I will have to read more into that in the next few days...
