You can't find nothing to buy now? If you ask because you want to use the free shipping with the new release, forget about that ....

With all the releases this year, it probably almost averages out to one every other day.

Try to search ebay, only for silver RCM items, issued lets say from 2000 till noways - you will find plenty beautiful coins that you do not have. Try to get them, and you will see, that each new RCM release will come unexpected, while you still have many older items to buy.

Next full release is January and it will (probably) be the traditional 1st release of the year. That is, annual items - proof set, specimen set, silver dollars (proof and BU), uncirculated set, gift sets (baby, wedding, birthday, O Canada), bunch of year of horse, and likely a smattering of new stuff including something Olympic.

Yes, way too many releases this year. I hope they learn for next year, but something tells me that they won't unfortunately. I have become quite the stickler about which coins I purchase now because of the sheer amount. While I collect because I enjoy it, it is always a nice extra to know that you made a little premium on your investment.

I heard from an RCM phone rep, there will be monthly releases again next yr. I hope not! There is not enough time to fully adore and appreciate each coin before the next release. One would think they'd cut back with so many coins left unsold. Or else reduce the mintages again. Next year I plan to stick to the subscriptions I signed up for and the 2 series I'm collecting. This will be more than enough for me! There are beautifully detailed coins that have gone unappreciated because of two much selection. I'm thinking arctic fox/ antelope/ banknotes/ tradition of hunting. All have slipped under the radar, in my opinion.

^Yes, the rep was mistaken. It is bi-monthly, not monthly.

Well, with the trend in the bullion value, this will affect the popularity on collecting coins... There's has been a lot of newbies in the domain since the last 5 years... If the gold and silver go down in value like thi year, lots of people will go back to other roots to spend their money... Look at the bitcoin for example, it's ridiculous... It's always the same, buy low, sell high... The "sell high" period in bullions and NCLT coins market seems over... For sure the RCM did not really help with all those releases... They overflow a little market (Canada) with so much coins that it cannot handle...

Not sure may be December. Although I know that January definitely is getting some new releases.

There is clearly no December release. e-mail from RCM 10/29/2013 to announce the November release "I am pleased to announce the final official RCM launch of 2013!". The Mint will release MORE coins in 2014 than they did in 2013. No question.
