This is a Rupee from the Mughal Empire. Dated AH1112 which is 1700 in the Gregorian calendar.

I am by no means proficent at grading 300 year old rupees, but it looks to be in the vf-ef range

Nice looking coin for it's age - how big is it?

It resembles a "larin" to me.

AU-50? hehe... I don't know wat it's meant to look like in BUNC anyway :(

It's Weight is 11.37 gr at a size of 23 mm. It has been minted under Aurangzeb Alamgir at Itawa mint.
The silver is of the purest that the refining technology at that time allowed to obtain.

These coins were hammered and the dies were larger than the coins, so that no coins will look exactly the same.
Very often these coins have some punch marks to check if they are not only coated with silver.
I believe it's a good XF
