Recently acquired this coin along with some other, couldn't find this coin listed in Krause- Is this perhaps a specimen or did I just not look well enough? Any idea on the value?

I think the clue is in the wording. Model. I don't know anything about it though.

Model coins were produced by many companies from the time of Victoria to just after her death. Some were serious suggestions for newer and lighter coins. Many of that type were made by Allen & Moore, and I suspect that yours might be A&M but can't find a reference.
