Poll Question
OK, I thought this would be fun. Here are the rules:

Vote for your favorite nickel design. The winner of each denomination will move on to the next poll, and the winner of that will be named Coin Community's Best-Looking U.S. Coin Design. Denominations with only one design, like the two-cent, will be entered by default. I am not including minor design changes or commemoratives.

I will post the Best-Looking U.S. Coin Design next Saturday.

Poll Choices
 Shield
 V
 Buffalo
 Jefferson
 Jefferson (New design)

Old Jefferson. To be more specific, old Jefferson from the 60s with a weaker strike.

Speaking of that, what should we call the new Jefferson nickels? I was thinking "Portrait Nickel." What do you think?

IGE, interesting how classics like the WLH, SLQ, "Mercury" dime, and Buffalo nickel--were all contemporary coins?

Tough choice between Buffalo and Jefferson. I chose Jefferson, knowing it would have fewer votes.
