I suppose it might well be the only Lincoln Cent with one side scratched off and the other vice-pressed at a slight angle (especially anywhere near this particular angle). I mean, that has to be a pretty rare combination of damage
(Still not worth the $20, of course - except possibly to the seller.)

Title: " Lincoln Penny I Found In Grass"

Certification: "It was supposed to be a penny"

Grade: "A+"

Very convincing. Next time Daddy shouldn't leave his ebay password lying out where the kids can see it.

Did you see picture 4, the hand written note?

Hilarious! I guess that's his certificate of authenticity!

In the very old days of Brit.....there were Hammersmiths that made one coin at a time.........Sad to say that these people were killed when a King changed.....

I can't believe it has bids!

Huh... On the 4th photo that has the paper saying "enlarge photo see for yourself" if you look close, right above his finger it says "dumb as..." And the rest is blocked, I'm assuming its another "s".... In other words who ever buys this is exactly that!! That's why there's no returns...

i find it amusing how the handwritten note says dumb *** on the side. also, can't believe how anyone would spend $20 for this.
