Geez, the Beeb couldn't even find a picture of a genuine Continental Currency note to lead off their article? Theirs is a pic of a cheap souvenir reproduction. The Continental notes became worthless in no small measure due to official efforts by British forces to counterfeit them, though. I guess the British Broadcasting Corporation is just carrying on the tradition!
