I just found this in circulation. Amazing, especially since I am on the east coast! Please grade, thanks!

Shouldn't have said that. If we are to be true to the specifics of the grading process, we can no longer call it Mint State.

With that in mind, I'm calling it AU63.

With respect to an RPM, I did not see anything above or below the "S", or split serifs. So I wrote it off as being a die chip. But another opinion is certainly welcome.

That's better than mine (both my original "circulation" find[1] and the ex-jeffrose coin that was probably his circulation find).
The 1955-S is the lowest mintage in late wheats (in fact, it's the lowest mintage of any non-variety business-strike US cent since 1940 - for comparison, the lowest mintage after 1955 is 2009-(P) Presidency[2]). However, it doesn't have anywhere near the status deserving its mintage, and viewed in the wheat series as a whole that mintage isn't even particularly low, so I doubt it would ever be valuable still, I certainly would've kept this one!

[1] by which I mean, it was given to me by people who know I collect but who themselves aren't interested at all, and probably found it in circulation
[2] which I, coincidentally, also have as a similar "circulation" find - my uncle gave it to me in December 2009

I think it's a solid 64.
