This is my first 1972-D Doubled Die LDS (1DO-002)[http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=lds]. It's not in the best of shape but I am happy to have found it. I was able to find two of the LDS markers on this coin.

Very nice. Forgive my lack of knowledge but what are you pointing to in the 1972 picture? Also how did you get such close ups! ?

I have an inexpensive Dinolite microscope for the closeups. I am pointing to the distorted "9" and the slightly notched "7" in the date pic. If you click on the link you will see better pics of the date on a much nicer coin. Thanks for your questions and for your kind words.
