denco7 Pillar of the Community United States 2543 Posts	Posted 12/05/2013 7:17 pm They claim they are minted by the Perth Mint, with a mintage of 10,000. They also claim that the reverse eagle design was designed by John Mercanti. I have been able to find any info on these. Has anyone seen these. Anyway GovMint is where I got the email from, has anyone seen or heard of these ? edit: broken link; I will fix edit 2: apparently GovMint.com redirects all links to a homepage. From a release by the Australian Government authorizing the Perth Mint to strike legal tender coins: 2014 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle - Silver Bullion Coin The design on the 2014 Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle (1oz) silver bullion coin, consists of a Wedge-tailed Eagle landing on a tree stump superimposed on a circle. The coin includes the following inscriptions ‘AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE'', ‘2014 1oz 999 SILVER', and the initials of the designer John Mercanti (JM).
