I found a few penny blanks from either the 60s or 70s in my father's collection. Would anybody have information on the blanks? And do they have any value? I'm attaching a photo of one front and back. Thanks.

How do you know it's from the '60s or '70s?
Have you weighed it?
On ebay they sell for anywhere from $1-$20,the norm seems to be about $4.

Thanks DBM. My father passed away in the mid-90s and hadn't touched his collection for 15-20 years. I'm just getting to some of the material. Would it matter if the blank was new or old? I haven't weighed the blanks. Has the weight of the penny changed from the 70s to present day?

Yes,pre 1982 are 3.1grams and after 1982 2.5 grams. Also, there are some "knock outs" from electrical boxes etc that are not coin related,FYI.

Sometimes your local Post Office or outlet will weigh coins for you.
