I bought this coin not intending for it to be the one I fell off the wagon with. It was at a good price and I believe I could flip it for a moderate profit to add to my 'buy a really awesome coin fund'. Then it arrived today and looks so gosh darn good and I am such a sucker for Hardian coins. I am seriously debating keeping it now.

I can't be sure on an RIC number since the number of consulships is missing. My best get would be COS III but can't say for certain.

This will be an internal battle with myself it is hard to say no since the price was so good. If I kept it it would be my fourth 'keeper' Hadrian

If the price was good and you like the coin than keep it. I know I struggle ever time I trade a coin, I hate to see them go.

My only small issue with it is that its really been overcleaned, down to the metal in nearly every spot, but if the price was good then I'm glad you got a good deal. Try leaving it in olive oil for some time to help darken it.

I have a method that could help it - just repatinate it.

If you like it, keep it. You can always sell it if you get a nicer Hadrian down the line.

a little olive oil bath may not be a bad idea actaully...darken it up a bit, the color as it is now with the metal isn't far from attractive.
