It's a Chinese "temple coin" or "offering coin".

The characters at the top and bottom (zhi da 至大) refer to coins (至大e宝 and 至大.宝) cast during the years 1310-1311 by Emperor Wu Zong of the Yuan Dynasty.

The characters to the right and left (geng shen 庚- "- ) specify a year according to the traditional Chinese calendar.

(Unfortunately, the software on this website does not display certain Chinese characters.)

Another specimen of the temple coin may be seen at this Chinese website.

I am not familiar with this particular temple coin and am unable to provide any additional information.

Gary,

Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this coin. That's very interesting as I knew of charms but had never heard of a temple coin.
