with VG10, but not sure about the surfaces of the coin. Is it pitted?

Not pitted. Just a bad photo. It sat in acetone for several weeks to get to this point. The obverse was three quarters covered in a black, tarry substance. I am more than happy with my conservation efforts. Should have taken a before pic .

Very nice restoration job then! Any pictures of the original? I'd say 10/70 makes sense

Hmm the obverse looks VG-08 but the reverse looks F-15 so I'll settle at F-12.

I think I can convince myself that this is F-12. I can see 6-letters clearly and a hint of the 'E'. The reverse is stronger than the obverse so I think that pushes it to F-12... if not than it is VG-11.5! LOL!
