The legend in the second pic concludes across the bottom with DEI MATER, then a cross, and the start of the legend: AVE. This is likely a legend that is found on 15th century french jetons: AVE MARIA STELLA DEI MATER.

The word VIVE occurs twice in the legend in the top pic, once at the bottom, after the cross that starts the legend, and again at the top of the pic. Here's another medieval French jeton, featuring the legend VIVE AMANT VIVE AMOURS, as well as a central cross fleuretty virtually identical to the one in the second pic. Your coin's legend's wording may be slightly different, and instead of filling out the remaining space at the end with decorative cinquefoils like this jeton, it seems to give the start of the Ave Maria motto from the other side: AVE M.

Finally found this very jeton! The legends read +VIVE LE DVC x VIVE DVC x AVE M, and +AVE MARI STELLA DEI MATER:

Thanks! By the way, the duke being praised in the legend is Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy (1396-1467).
