I'm a sucker for blue toning on silver, this one has some caricature to it.

Nice coin! Your image makes the coin appear to be bronze. Is the effect caused by lighting or is it the true color? In either case, I can see the blue toning ring - I bet it looks great in hand!
I always enjoy looking at examples of the Lafayette dollar. It was my first "big ticket" coin purchase - I will always have a fondness for it.

Lighting seems to be the issue in my photography, the coin is well toned with a prominent bluish ring on both sides. The busts are more silver toned in hand.

Seems like most Lafayette dollars are see are so darkly toned. I like that one.

That's a beauty! If your camera has setting symbol like this for your lighting or WB white balance it may help your pictures a lot..

Very nice example. I'm certain it is lovely colored in hand ... as mentioned difficult to see with your lighting settings. Not too stray too far off topic ... but incandescent lighting is an acceptable source ... your photo color issue is likely the white balance setting on your camera is not adjusted for that lighting type. BTW ... what is going on with the circular impression on the reverse ... appears that General Lafayette is leaning back against a beach ball? Thanks for sharing the latest addition in your set. The "beach ball" is toning, like it was supported by something circular for some time. It seems to halo the only major mark in the coin.
