If I understand correctly "RD" stands for "red", Is the red color like a rust color or what? The more I get into this the less I know, and I don't know much about this to start with. Any help learning this is much appreciated .

Go to your bank and get a brand new roll of uncirculated cents.
THAT'S the color you are looking for when you want RD (red).

I suspect the coin you showed would be labeled RB (red-brown).

Actually the red zincolns have a little bit different color than the red coppers. I like the coppers much better with their golden tone.
