I see nothing wrong with this, it's just a newly joined seller, that has a coin worth a few thousand dollars and they have decided to start with a $100 bid. (Sarcastic tone continued) I mean just look at the perfect date placement on the coin, no doubt authentic. He's been an ebay member since December 12, 2013. Why cant anyone just trust him? LOL

I wish I had seen that. I guess a picture of a computer showing a picture of a cell phone screen shot is the next then.

Part of me just wants to see how bad I could make a listing just to see what happens

Fake. The reverse is not a shallow "N" as all genuine 1877 IHC are.

....and the seller would make quite a bit more if this 1877 was slabbed.

This key date coin, without being in plastic, either has a problem not seen in the photo or seller is unaware of PCGS/NGC/ANACS.

Exactly. The mushy date caught my eye too. It's 100% fake.
