So, with so many releases per month, it's very difficult to buy previous released coins. These coins that are in our wanted list. Taking advantage of the lack of December release and the Holiday deals I bought these coins: The ultra famous that doesn't need presentation: 1st Glow in the Dark My first NCLT graded coin. 2013 Piedfort 1 oz. PCGS PR69 And the last one is not from the RCM (forgive me for that), is from the NZ mint, The Giant Coconut Crab packaged in a coconut shaped custom mold case, which is scented with a coconut oil fragrance (mintage 5,000).

Thanks for sharing, Arianzo
Nice coins and the pictures. Also great idea of the post...
Have a question: we all have the "waiting list", so here I curious, since some of yours coins not really from far past releases: did you get the graded Piedfort SML cause you wanted it to be graded, or it "occasional purchase"?

Thanks to both! Silveroid: Yeah. I think it's a good idea to post here our past released purchases. About your question. It was an occasional purchase as I already had the Piedfort coin. I saw the deal from this thread https://goccf.com/t/164106 where the graded coin with free shipping was being sold below issue price so I said why not, it's a win-win. I thought in flip it but now that I've the graded coin in hand is so AMAZING ! The holder allows me to appreciate the coin very well as I don't touch and cover part of the coin with my fingers. Now, I don't know what I'll do :-)

Congrats Arianzo, for a good deal! Quote: The holder allows me to appreciate the coin very well as I don't touch and cover part of the coin with my fingers. Now, I don't know what I'll do :-) Well....for keeping this coin as "my single graded NCLT coin", you may get nice wooden case for single slab (graded) and it will be very nice displayed.

I not able to do the pictures right now - will post them tomorrow, but since I want to say "Thank you" for one of the members here (actually didn't see him posting recently): Here the recent RCM / non-RCM purchases: Thanks for CCF member for opportunity to get exceptionally nice and rare (despite the mintage 4.000) NZ coin: 2010 New Zealand Maori Art - Heitiki Proof (1 oz .999 Silver)this is the first one (2010, 2012, 2013, ? ) in the NZ Maori Art series, that I found as very hard reachable coin, and now I have it! Thanks again!! The second one is: 2013 Canada Traditions of Hunting: BisonNo deal, no discount...just decided to get it from the other source in order to compensate the shipping for other small items. Pictures tomorrow.

Yeah...need to say - broke my promisse due to lack of time. But I'll do it. :)
I will agree with you, Pixu - in my opinion, the 2013 is the best between 3.
So, I started with 2013 - saw it as "must-have"....then decided to get 2012 since it was available at NZ Post and Powercoin. And only after, I thought, that need the 2010 as the first - took near half a year to see it offered for sale.

Some nice pick ups arianzo. That scented clamshell case must be a first. But I wonder how long the sent will continue to be strong. As for me I was had a 1996 Germen planchet toonie and a 2012 small size silver gilded with gold cent waiting for me when I got home this week. There is no probably no need for pictures since they say it's really hard to tell the toonie apart. I'll try to post the picture of the penny later on tonight. I'm sure most have seen this before. But It's probably one of my favorite pick ups this year.

It's cool but I bought it because of the coin not the sent. Quote: I'll try to post the picture of the penny later on tonight.

Need to keep the promised, and isn't the Christmas the best time? And here are they : coins by RCM and NZ Post*apologize for pictures quality, the light seems to be much more "warm", so I've tried to reduce this effect using some simplest editor, but not sure, that it same as used to be.... 2013 Canada $5 Traditions of Hunting - The Bison: The next one was purchased long time ago and it my favorite RCM "animal coin" (actually it is duplicate, since I also have entier set). Why I posting it here? Cause never took the picture of it. 2005 $4 Canada Lynx - 1/2oz coin from the Lynx Fractional set And the last one is: 2010 New Zealand $1 Maori Art - Heitikiin the original packaging: coin close-up: COA (inside) (it comes folded, so it hard to take full clear picture): COA (coin specifications): *The small "dots" on the "Lynx" and "Heitiki" - these are fractions of dust inside the capsules, nothing on the coins. **The "scratch" on the bottom part of "Heitiki" - small not deep scratch on the inner part of the capsule - only on the photo it clearly visible.

Wow! Thanks for posting these! I'm not particularly 'into' colorized coins but I really love that Giant Coconut Crab!
