1949 Half Penny Error's! & 3x 1959 1-D Doubling Date's!

jpl Valued Member Australia 354 Posts	Posted 12/16/2013 8:53 pm Hi, I have Two thing's of interest here on this 1949 Halve Penny! Two die crack's on this coin. One above letter A to the rim, The other next to KG to the rim on the Reverse. The Second, is the 19 out of 1946 be a Die Fill, It does not appear to be Worn & all I can figure is a Grease Filled Die? What do you think? The Third, Is Three 1959 1D's with Doubling on the Date's. enworb Pillar of the Community Australia 4411 Posts	Posted 12/17/2013 6:46 pm Its die fill IMO. The cracks are nice also. Heaps of doubling on those pennies. Machine Doubling is pretty common on that era of melbourne pennies for some reason. Also; awesome photos!! Report this Post to the Staff
