Hello all, I pick this up because the way it looked. I am not sure if I purchased it from the one that got it from the StackBowers auction. It says, trial strike of Poor Richard Club of Philadelphia medal, greenslet gm-187. This is the only information I received on it. Just wondering if you can point me to any futher info I could find about this. Thank you for the help.

Designed by Joseph K. Davison's Sons, Philadelphia, but the engraving may have been done by Tiffany's.

Thank you for the help "philadelphian". This points me in another direction to research. If it may of been engraved by Tiffanys do you think they would have records or archives of this engraving.

The reference I found was unclear about Tiffany's role, but my guess is that Davison's made the medals, and then each was inscribed around the edge by Tiffany's with the name of the recipient. So your trial punch probably never crossed Tiffany's path, but if the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's is to be believed, those folks are nothing but helpful!
