Hello,

I am able to buy the following 3 ancient coins of the same seller as the last Carthage coin.

The photo's are bad but I have the confidence they will look a lot better in hand, like carthage coin.

My question is, am I doing right to buy these coins for this price? Especially about the fourree of Hadrian and the denarius of Domitian, I'm not sure.

All opinions are welcome! (total price incl shipping is 53 euro's)

Number 1: Sestertius of Gordian, 15 euro's

look like nice coins to me, especially for the price. I bet that sestertius is nice and chunky.

I think the price for the fourree is a little high, but the other coins make up for that. Nice buy.

Its not high price for fouree because fouree is even more rare than original denarius... some of fourees make triple price than originals.

Personally ....... I would wait. Not that the coins are bad but patience does often pay off. I have seen some really really nice Gordian sestertii sell for between 20-25 euros. I feel it is much better to pay a few 'pesos' more and get an AE that will really make you feel warm and fuzzy. As far as the denarius goes. I have bought some VF/EF Caracalla for $35 from a dealer at a show ..... which works out to about just a few euros more than the Domitian. I am a cheapskate ...... but I do have fun !

They finally arrived!

Because I recently bought a better gordian denarius, its for sale now.
Im not sure whether I should keep the hardian fourree, allthough its a nice example of such coin.
