According to the data available, there are several small National Bank Notes surviving on charter 12923 Tallulah. As of yet, I have not seen one. Are there any fellow collectors of Nationals who have one, and might be willing to share a scan? I collect all coastal southern state small nationals, Louisiana and Texas being my favorites, hope there are others who share the enthusiasm for the southern nationals.

Heritage Auctions has an auction archive. I looked up this bank and the only record they had was of a large size $10 that sold back in 2008. It was a serial #3.
In the description, Heritage said there were 8 large size notes in the census but didn't mention any small size.
I've got a few national banknotes in my collection but they are mainly from Missouri and Iowa.

Kelly Book says 9 large and 8 small notes. Every state has interesting charters, some towns with interesting names, many no longer in existence. thanks!

Some notes on certain charters are just hard to find. If Heritage (or lynn knight) hasn't sold one then I can pretty much guarantee that those small notes shown in the Kelly Census are in some very strong hands. They probably are all be owned by the same person, too.
I've been looking for a small note on Texas charter number 2729 for 40 years. There are plenty of large notes on this charter but the small notes remain elusive. I heard about one showing up a few years ago but I have my doubts.
Seeing is believing in the National business.

westernsky, I know what you mean by strong hands. I pried a group of six nationals, two large and four small, off of two Louisiana Charters, from one individual. Those notes, and notes from those charters, had not seen daylight in over 25 years! there are still discoveries to be made!

#2729 is the First National Bank of McKinney Tx. The other two banks.... The Collin County Natl Bank #2909 and the Central Natl Bank #14236 show up at auction fairly often.

Track&Price shows 8 small size notes for Ch. #12923, the last one being sold was the one Meadowview mentioned.
Best of luck in your search!
