A little OT, but here is the Carolingian predecessor of this temple type, of which later temple coinage, including the OP coin, was based on:

Denier of Carolingian emperor Louis the Pious (the son of Charlemagne)

The Carolingian temple reverse was in turn based on ancient Roman coins featuring temples.

By the way, the name of the song is both right and wrong. Wenceslas was actually Good Duke Wenceslas when he "looked out on the feast of Stephen," but after his murder Holy Roman Emperor Otto I granted him the posthumous title of King.
Rest in Peace

Great piece of history through numismatics P! I'm not sure how I missed it last year, but thanks to a worthy bump, I didn't miss it altogether.
Rest in Peace
