Check this one out. I ran the cert# on the ANACS site and nothing came up. Besides that, it does not look like a holder that they use, or have they changed styles again?

I dropped ANACS an e-mail about this.
I'll report back here if/when I get an answer from them.

I have seen many ....... many different ANACS holders. It seems there are different holders for every coin on HSN.
I don't see anything suspicious about this holder. Someone would really risk running a foul of the law to put a common proof penny in a counterfeit holder to make $.99 ?

I agree with denco. What would be the point here? Too much effort for too little payoff.

Thanks kanga, I wonder why the cert# did not get a hit when I entered it in.

I have a slab like that I got a few years ago. And now that I look at the cert # it doesn't come up either. I had a few more slabs like that but I sold them off over the last couple years. Must have been for HSN or something like that? Who knows. The # is 4000041761 in case you want to look it up

I think it was HSN. I've seen those before somewhere and I'm pretty sure it was on their coin show.

This is a better looking holder than their present yellow label version. I wonder if you can request this type holder?

I like them a lot more than the yellow or blue label holders. They stack quite nicely.
