I've seen "unsearched" rolls with IHC and Merc enders, but this is incredible. I hope the bidders on this are not hoping to find a roll of quarter eagles.

I have seen them with quarter eagles before. I think someone is up for a not so nice surprise when they get it. Even some of the positive feedback comments note that this is a gamble.

I am amazed that people would continue to give this seller repeat business but that is their prerogative.

I saw an absolutely absurd one a couple months ago. It had a double eagle or something like that on the end where it was clearly much to big for the roll which was broken trying to make it fit around it and looked like it had been taped onto the end.

I wouldnt take any gamble on them but I understand why people would bid up to the value of what they can see on the ends.

Look at his other listings, six rolls have gold on the end.

That is what I do, but I don't win many of them. People go nuts over a gamble.

nothing unsearched about that roll. Paper is too new to be that OLD.
Obviously it is salted. with this kind of thing I would only bid on what I saw.
